Job Description :

• This role is responsible for designing of mechanical & electrical solutions for material handling equipment and systems. Your work will directly contribute to the development of efficient and reliable material handling solutions, improving the productivity and safety of various industrial processes. Your role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills to design and deliver high-quality mechanical solutions that meet the unique requirement of each project. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and production teams, to ensure the successful execution of projects. Your expertise in mechanical & electrical engineering and design will be instrumental in creating efficient, safe, and innovative material handling solutions that meet industry standards and customer requirements.
• Conceptual Design and Development.
• Collaborate with project managers & clients to understand project requirements & objectives. Develop innovative and practical mechanical designs for material handling equipment like cranes, and other related systems.
• CAD Modelling and Analysis.
• Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to create detailed 2D & 3D models of mechanical components & assemblies. Conduct engineering analysis, simulations, and stress tests to ensure the integrity and performance of the
• Material Selection.
• Appropriate materials based on design specifications, budget constraints, and project requirements. Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality components and materials for the manufacturing process.
• Compliance and Standards.
• Ensure that all mechanical designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in the material handling industry.
• Collaboration & Communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and control systems.Communicate design concepts and progress effectively to stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and clients
• Continuous Improvements.
• Identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, productivity and performance enhancement.Implement improvements based on feedback from manufacturing, production, and field teams.
• Qualification and Experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in mechanical design, preferably in the material handling industry
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as SolidEdge, AutoCAD, or similar tools.Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
